SOLD OUT Join a mushroom walk and learn about the ecological functions of fungi, common edibles and medicinal mushrooms, as well as historic uses of fungi and present-day innovations of these fantastic Fungi! Walks usually fill up, so it is recommended you sign up in advance. Location: Meet at 10am at the big Magic Meadow parking lot. Across from 452 Macdaniel Rd, Bearsville, NY. 1/2 mile from the Tibetan Buddhist Center.  The big parking lot is just past where the GPS will take you.  What to expect: We will start at the Magic Meadow parking lot for a brief Fungi101 explanation, as well as what to expect from our walk. Participants will have the option to borrow baskets, bags, and/or books to take with them as we head onto an easy trail into the forest to learn about the fungi we find.
