Lost and Found

I captured this image during one of many unforgettable boat trips out on the ocean outside Lisbon, Portugal. We were usually looking for birds, whales, dolphins, and other ocean life, but this time we kept spotting balloons. It looked like a balloon bouquet had gotten loose and floated out to sea. Balloons are really dangerous to wildlife, and we picked them up as we went. Most were torn or deflated, but then we found this perfect heart-shaped balloon, just floating there by itself.
