It’s one of the most popular hiking spots of the season because it’s easy to reach, not hard to walk, is enjoyable with changing atmospheres, and is nearby Batroun, which is full of interesting things to do after or before the hike.The trail takes its name from the the iconic Mseilha Fort which is a fortification situated north of the city of Batroun.The current fort was built by Emir Fakhredine II in the 17th century to guard the route from Tripoli to Beirut. The fort is built on a long, narrow limestone rock near the Nahr el-Jawz River.We followed the water canals towards Kaftoun village.
