Ancient Greek Silver Drachm Circa 336 - 323 B.C.  Obverse:  Head of Herakles facing to the right, wearing lion skin headdress.  Reverse:  Zeus enthroned facing to the left, holding eagle and scepter, to the right, "ALESANAPOY".  Ruler:  Alexander III, The Great;  Framed in 14Kt yellow gold bezel within Square sterling Silver Frame at center of hinged triple wheat bracelet. Certificate of Authenticy. Dimensions: 8" long, triple wheat bracelet is 1/2" wide, and framed coin is 1" square. Alexander, King of Macedonia, began ruling immediately after the death of his father, Phillip II, and brought the Greek Empire to its peak.Through his conquests, he minted these coins in many variations of type and style,  all having the same basic elements- The obverse of the coin depicts Zeus, enthroned, holding an eagle in one hand and the royal scepter in the other. "Alexander" is inscribed to the sidea. On the reverse, each bears the face of Herekles (Hercules), wearing a headdress of the Nimean Lion
