St. Patrick's Day Reading Comprehension Passage with Questions | High School

I love to have my students learn the history behind some of the most well-known holidays. I use this piece in March as St. Patrick’s Day is approaching. It’s also a great way for me to assess their knowledge about tone, text structure, and inferencing. This could also be used as a sub-plan. Everything students need for vocabulary, critical thinking, and test prep are all included! I've included an article all about the history of St. Patrick's Day and why we associate the holiday with things such as the color green and leprechauns.
