CRISPR Mouse Genome 86K Knockout Library

Cellecta's CRISPR Mouse Genome-Wide Knockout Library was designed to be small enough to enable convenient, genome-wide "dropout viability" screens. With approximately 86,000 constructs, the updated (Dec. 2023) mouse CRISPR library targets all mouse protein-coding genes (~21,300). With 4 sgRNAs targeting each gene, nearly all of which have been designed using the criteria for effective guides described by Doench, et al. and containing the Cellecta-designed HEAT sgRNA tracrRNA structure which we have proven generates more robust screening results than the standard sgRNA design, the library has deep enough gene coverage to generate efficient results.
