Flicker GPS ULP

The NEW Ultra Low Power Flicker GPS takes revolutionary manufacturing to a whole new level. This tiny device, weighing in at 2.8-3.3 grams, leverages massively efficient solar panels and an energy harvester to offset energy loss over time, making it possible to collect a full year's worth of GPS fixes as well as more frequent cell-locate positions, and the ability to sample accelerometer sensor data as well on a user-defined schedule. Designed for species that don't get much daylight, like Northern Saw-whet Owls, the Flicker ULP will open the doors to full-annual-cycle tracking and monitoring like never before. The Flicker ULP comes with integrated attachment points which can be used for either attaching to a backpack harness, or Leg-loop harness.  Like our complete Flicker GPS line, the Flicker ULP allows you to fully configure and update your device right from the CTT Mobile App, available for both Apple iOS and Android smartphones.  Unique to these devices, though, is the ability to assign connection and GPS duty cycles greater than a day apart. We have developed two base configs that will last at least one full year, incorporating true GPS, Cell-Locate, and Accelerometer data. For the smallest unit, this config is as follows: GPS 2x per Month Cell-Locate (and data upload) 2x per Week ACC on the GPS Day For the larger unit: GPS 1x per Week Cell-Locate (and data upload) 2x per Week ACC on the GPS Day Also like the complete Flicker GPS line, there are no recurring data fees. All data is covered under the single price.
