Bring Your Own Beets Farmhouse Style Ale

The kind of wacky and inspired concoction that only a homebrewer could dream up. Add beets to the steep/mash (and, optionally, as a "dry-hop" in secondary) to this farmhouse-style ale for a brew that is bright red, thirst-quenching, and delightfully unique. Color: ??? (Fuschia?). IBU: 15. ABV: 5.9%. Extract kits include liquid and/or dry malt extract, plus crushed specialty grains with a grain sock to steep. Partial mash kits include malt extract, plus a larger amount of crushed base malt and specialty grains with a grain sock, and require extra steeping time. All-grain kits include crushed base malt and specialty grains, and require advanced technique and equipment.
