Is it a dark strong, or a quad? Either way, it's a new twist on the style. Big, boozy Belgian-style that you know and love, plus a splash of New Zealand hops mixes in with the pleasant funkiness. Let it sit for a minute on oak cubes and elderberries, and you have a beer that might be from a whole different dimension. (The name? It's just a reference to a podcast I enjoy. It's a joke for, like, 4 people.) Color: 22 SRM (Very Dark Brown). IBU: 27. ABV: 9.6%. Extract kits include liquid and/or dry malt extract, plus crushed specialty grains with a grain sock to steep.
