Heirloom Ginger

Our zesty ginger powder is sourced from a farm in the central region of Matale, Sri Lanka. This heirloom variety is cultivated from the ginger root, cleaned and sliced, dried, and pounded into a powder. Ginger has been used in culinary and healthful applications for thousands of years. Medicinally, ginger is commonly used to aid with stomach aches. It is a staple in Chinese and Indian cultures. The powdered version is a common ingredient in baking and can also be used as a substitute for fresh ginger. Our ground heirloom ginger is organically grown and are sourced from individuals who work directly with the farmers that grow and process these aromatic cloves.  Ingredients: Ginger | Zingiber officinale
