The Flow Teacup Collection is based on the chinoiserie European style of art and design inspired by Chinese motifs and imagery. This style was particularly popular in the 17th and 18th centuries, during the height of the European trade with China. The term "chinoiserie" is French for "Chinese-esque," and it encompasses a wide range of decorative arts, including ceramics.  The Flow Teacup Collection is decorated with motifs such as pagodas and cherry blossoms. They are made from fine porcelain clay, which is fired at very high temperatures to create a strong, thin, and translucent material. All the teacups in this collection are hand-painted with intricate patterns and designs, making each one unique.
