Those original crucibles inspired this piece. Each Cerro Gordo Crucible Candle is hand-thrown on a wheel in Los Angeles by ceramicist Gabriela Forgo, then hand-poured at Cerro Gordo by musician and candle maker Kira McSpice. No molds. No duplication. Every vessel is completely unique, shaped by hand and finished with subtle variations that make each one one-of-a-kind. The scent is drawn directly from the landscape and atmosphere of Cerro Gordo—the high desert, the surrounding pinyon forests, the dust of old roads, and the lingering
