Uda Watte Single Region Dilmah Tea - 125g (4.4oz)
Uda Watte Ceylon Black Tea Tin Caddy-125g Loose Leaf Tasting Note & Distinctive Features The Dilmah WATTE (meaning estate) series represents the unique qualities of select tea gardens in the four primary Ceylon Tea growing regions: Ran Watte (peak elevation), Uda Watte (high elevation), Meda Watte (mid elevation) and Yata Watte (low elevation). The unique aspects of a place - climate, soil and topography - influences and shapes the tea made there and gives it a specific personality, much like terroir in wine. High grown at 4,000-5,000 feet above sea level. Full-bodied, rounded and refreshing. Medium brown with tints of orange. An almost savoury taste. Fruity, exotic perfume with a 'balance' in taste from the ample tannins, strong but not brooding. Comparable to a Pinot Noir wine made from grapes grown in cool climates. A tea that is delicate, radiant and elegant. Ingredients Pure Ceylon Black tea, no additives Tea Grade Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe (FBOP) Net Weight125g
