Also available with an all-rubber platform as 3223-R. 2" x 3", 11 gauge steel frame Updated in 2009, our octagonal lifting platforms make the perfect complement to our Pro and Performance Series Cages by providing a 6′ x 8′ lifting area with a handmade oak tongue-and-groove insert running back to fill the inside of the cage area. Unlike the channel frames of some of our competitors, our frame is constructed from 3 x 2 inch rectangular tubing for greater dent resistance. The frame consists of only three pieces — the left half, the right half, and the front ramp that also serves to cover the seam where the halves meet. Several layers of wood provide toughness beneath the top layer of thick, precision cut rubber and tongue-and-groove hardwood.
