
ABC Orthotic Fitter Course Part I - Blended Learning Class
An ABC Certified Fitter of Orthotics is a professional who is competent in fitting prefabricated, head to toe orthoses, including neck, back, arm, knee, ankle and foot braces. This 36-hour ABC approved course consists of an online and a live component, and is approved by ABC for their Certified Fitter of Orthotics Board Examination. How it works: Part I of the Orthotic Fitter Course is completed self-paced online via Distance Learning. This portion of the course consists of narrated PowerPoint lectures, printable lecture notes, lab assignments, study activities and self-assessments. Successful completion of all quizzes and lab assignments is required for attendance in the live portion of the class. This portion of the class is estimated to take between 20 - 24 hours to complete, depending on how quickly the student works. The average time per module is 50 minutes. Part II of the Orthotic Fitter Course is completed during a live, in-person class that spans two eight-hour days. This
