Then I fuse powdered glass to both sides of the bowl, building up thin layers and firing each in a 1500 degree kiln. I draw the image by hand, freestyle, directly on the bowl on a base coat of white glass using graphite and special enamel pencils and paint. The final steps are fusing clear layers of glass over
