It is a piece written for an orchestra by Edvard Grieg as an incidental music. The piece starts with a simple theme slowly and quietly in a lower registers. The theme is then slightly modified with a few different notes but transposed. Toward the end, the piece gets faster to prestissimo and the dynamic gets louder and frenetic ending. Mekara arranged the work for Oboe duet.
