IFU Description: This antibody recognizes the alpha and gamma isotopes of all muscle groups and can be used as a marker for skeletal, cardiac, and smooth muscle cells. Because this antibody does not stain neoplastic cells of non-muscle-derived tissues like carcinomas, melanomas, and lymphomas it is useful in identifying tumors of smooth muscle (leiomyomas and leiomyosarcomas) as well as skeletal muscle (rhabdomyomas and rhabdomyosarcomas).   Catalog: VMAB009 Clone: CHMP052 Species Reactivity: Cat and Dog Source: Recombinant Mouse Monoclonal  Isotype: IgG1 Antigen: Synthetic peptide of human muscle actin Cellular Location: Cytoplasmic Positive Control: Muscle or sarcoma   References: Rangdaeng, S., and Truong, L.D.
