2021 Domaine Hubert Lamy Chassagne-Montrachet "Le Concis du Champs"
Blend: Chardonnay From: Concis du Champ, Chassagne-Montrachet, Burgundy, France After training at the venerable Domaine Méo-Camuzet, Olivier returned to take over his family Domaine in 1995. Olivier moved the Domaine towards high density planting (more competition amongst vines), larger oak barrels (350-600L Barrels) and minimal new oak (10-15%). The results have created wines that showcase their terroir beautifully, age gracefully, and showcase a laser like precision. This is a highly enjoyable offering from Chassagne-Montrachet. This wine can age for many years to come or is easily enjoyed after a bit of time in a decanter. Critical Acclaim 92 points VinousOuter quote mark The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet La Concis de Champs has a taut, almost Puligny-like bouquet with a touch of sea spray. The palate is harmonious on the entry and slightly waxy in texture. Plenty of dry extract lends fine persistence, and lime and green apple mingle with spice on the also Puligny-like finish. Excellent
