The first impression from aroma alone indicates that this wine punches far above its price, especially for this vintage: a short, hot growing season in Burgundy. These aromas translate wonderfully on the palate, the fruit, baking spice, and earth components melding seamlessly together, leading to a lengthy, driven finish.
