'CARACALLA' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'caracalla')

'Caracalla' is an early, semi-double to double, red peony. Upward-facing, 6-inch blossoms are slightly fragrant and borne singly per 33" stem. It has a vigorous, upright growth habit and attractive green foliage with broad pointed leaves. 'Caracalla's flowers are so filled and heavy that the blossom might need support when fully opened!
