'DULUTH' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'duluth')

This is one the best large, white, fully-double peonies we know. The variety is not well known in spite of being introduced nearly a century ago! Consequently, it is difficult to find and we are not always successful either. This 8 inch, rose-type flower tops 36" stiff stems. A vigorous plant with attractive foliage of a deep rich-green. Blooms late season. An excellent cut-flower and superb garden plant. Does not need support and very reliable. (Franklin, 1931). Heirloom.
