Kosel Flowers Original Art

“Kosel Flowers” is one of those paintings I created to feel like a world you can actually step into. At 48x60 inches, it’s intentionally large — almost like standing at a window with Jerusalem opening before you in layers of color, life, and holiness. I began with the hydrangeas in the foreground, painting them vibrant and lush, as if they are right beside you — close enough to touch. From there, your eye moves gently into the cityscape: soft pinks, warm purples, and sunlit rooftops that carry the familiar rhythm of Jerusalem’s homes. I wanted this middle layer to feel alive, full of movement and texture, like the heartbeat of the city. And then, beyond it all, the Kosel stands in glowing warmth. I used touches of 24k gold leaf and genuine diamonds to bring subtle light to the stones — small sparkles that echo the countless prayers carried there.
