“Tzfas Walkways” is my tribute to the ancient, mystical city of Tzfas — a place where every alleyway feels steeped in history, devotion, and quiet holiness. I painted this scene to capture that early-morning stillness unique to Tzfas, when the stone pathways are cool, the light is soft, and the world seems to pause for a moment of spiritual breath. The blues in this piece are inspired by the city itself — the shutters, the walls, the arches, and the way the color settles into the stone as if it has always been there. In Tzfas, blue feels like part of the air you breathe. I wanted the palette to carry that sense of calm depth, where the physical environment and the spiritual atmosphere seem to echo one another.
