“Heartstrings” is a portrait about connection — the kind that comes not through words, but through something deeper. I wanted to capture the moment when music becomes a bridge between souls, when a single glance holds emotion, longing, and an entire world of unspoken feeling. His eyes meet ours directly, steady and vulnerable, drawing us into the story behind the sound we cannot hear but can somehow feel. The palette is built on shades of blue, softened with touches of warmth, to evoke the interplay between introspection and expression — the quiet depth of the musician and the vibrant emotion of the music itself. The heavy textures and layered strokes mirror the layers within every Jewish soul: the complexity, the yearning, the depth that sits just beneath the surface. In my work, I try to reveal the holiness embedded in the everyday — the sparks of light inside ordinary moments. Here, the act of playing the violin becomes a form of tefillah, a spiritual expression that rises from the
