The water tank is completely separate from the concentrate tank, and it only mixes when you're applying your chemical. It's designed around two tanks – a 4-gallon water tank and a 0.3125-gallon concentrate tank. Our 63950 M.O.E. backpack sprayer comes with two chemical tanks so you can use one and keep one handy when you need to switch. Fill your water tank, fill your chemical tank, snap the chemical tank into place, then set the dial to accurately dispense your concentrate.
