92 CellarTracker My favourite of the 4 Piedmontese wines tasted last night, probably because it was more advanced and reaching early maturity versus a 2012 Barolo Riserva. Pale red with browning and a nose that initially took me to Tuscany with balsamic notes and dried roses and cherries. On the palate classic Nebbiolo tannins and flavours. Enjoyable and I expect will drink well for a while yet 11/16/2024 92 Wine Spectator This is expressive and bursting with cherry, licorice, spice, tar and tobacco flavors. Juicy and balanced, with dense tannins folded into the texture. Fine length. Best from 2018 through 2030.
