Opened and let breathe for 1 hour, but it continued to get better in the glass with the last pour being the finest. Next bottle I’ll open 2 hours ahead. Tannins have softened allowing the ripe cherry, blackberry, anise, and vanilla notes really shine through. 11/22/2024 95 Wine Advocate A brilliant wine, and one of the stars of the vintage, the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection boasts aromas of blueberry pie, blackberries, cassis and white flowers.
