The teapot is made by Hu Ke in Jingdezhen, an important pottery center in China. Hu used to be a media worker in his early career. However, with a passion about the nature and countryside life growing gradually, Hu made up his mind to quit the well-developed media work and put his root in Jingdezhen for studying wood firing where he is able to feel the truth of nature and life.Hu is aimed to develop a line of mini teapots for a small tea ceremony as a teapot suiting for single-person brewing plays an important role during his daily meditation. Made of white gaolin clay, the teapot is colored by the ash and fire . It stands out by the green drips with faint cracks running from the top to the bottom, allowing an interplay with speckled effect of brown spots across the vitrified terracotta body.
