Looking through his wood-fired potteries , we are impressed by the uncommon appearance of his work of art which reflects fully his bumble personality and endless effort in extending the range of wood-fired possibilities . The galaxy teapot is made of gaoling clay which is originally mined in Jindezhen. Gaoling clay features the ability to withstand high temperature over 1500℃. The bluish-violet color is created by atmospheric turbulence while the ash of wood is dusting the surface of pot during 3-days-and-nights of wood-firing in kiln .
