Sorbalgon® Ag

Sorbalgon Ag is a sterile, single-use dressing composed of calcium alginate and silver particles, which absorbs wound exudate and releases silver ions in the dressing. As wound exudate is absorbed, the alginate forms a gel, which assists in maintaining a moist environment to help wound healing. The total maximum amount of silver particles is 0.14mg/cm2. Sorbalgon Ag has antibacterial effects. The silver protects the dressing from a broad spectrum of bacteria for up to seven days.
