This is a stunning pendant by vintage designer Asch Grossbardt, a historic jewelry brand that specialized in high-quality inlay gold, inspired by ancient mosaic jewelry-making traditions. Each piece is created by hand cutting and setting semi-precious stones into intricate patterns. The stones are then polished on a wheel until they are so smooth that it’s difficult to tell where one stone ends and another begins. This piece in particular features black-and-white monochrome quintessential-Grossbardt inlay surrounded by buttery yellow gold. The other side is more simple plain white and luckily you don’t need to decide which side you like better because the piece is totally reversible. A bale with pavé diamonds tops it all off 💎 Hallmark signatures are on the back of the bale.
