This is a great lab to use at the beginning of your chemical reactions unit. Students will perform six reactions and identify the evidence of a chemical change for each reaction. In the evidence of a chemical change lab students will perform reactions that will- Test the Law of Conservation of Mass Endothermic/Exothermic reactions Formation of a precipitate reaction Reactant replaced by the product, (single replacement reaction) Change in temperature (energy) ***THIS LAB IS INCLUDED IN THE FOLLOWING BUNDLE:*** Chemical Reactions Mega Unit Bundle Objectives: Observe reactions and state evidence that a chemical reaction has occurred Based on observations, make inferences about the products and the reaction. Prior Knowledge for Students: Students need to be able to write chemical formulas from chemical names prior to this lab. Students do NOT need to know the types of reactions prior to this lab. Teacher Prep Time: average to above average du
