The Chessie

The Chesapeake Bay Retriever can trace its roots back to this region as far back as 1807, when two Newfoundland pups were rescued from a sinking ship off the coast of Maryland. These lucky canines were eventually bred with area dogs to create the ultimate hunting companions: strong, powerfully built, and dependable.  Sounds a lot like our timepiece, a watch that's as handsome as it is resilient. The black & tan display is tied together by a dark brown suede strap so soft to the touch you’ll want to pet it. And to acknowledge this breed’s peerless skillset in the water, we made the seconds hand a refreshing aquatic blue.
