Certitude- Square Silk Scarf

A Dragonfly Poem Today I saw the dragonfly Come from the wells where he did lie. An inner impulse rent the veil Of his old husk: from head to tail Came out clear plates of sapphire mail. The gossamer wings bely its incredulous strength, speed and agility. They have inspired art and poetry, and the vivid colors hold symbolic meanings across continents. A symbol of transformation, joy and self realization. To me, they are beautiful creatures who spread beauty and sparkle in their brief journey through this world.
