Reishi Mushroom - Tincture Ingredients:Filtered water, vegetable glycerin (may contain coconut), Reishi mushroom (Ganoderma Tsugae) Product Description:Our Reishi Mushroom Tincture is made from wild-harvested Reishi mushrooms, also known by their scientific name Ganoderma Tsugae, which are found growing on dead hemlock trees in the northeast USA from June to September, depending on the weather. Reishi mushrooms, often referred to as Ling Zhi in Chinese, have been revered in traditional herbal practices for their adaptogenic properties. The double extraction method was used to prepare this tincture: Glycerin extraction: The mushrooms are first extracted in organic, non-GMO vegetable glycerin for about a month. Water extraction: The mushrooms are then decocted (boiled and simmered) in water for 45 minutes. The resulting extract from both methods is combined to capture the broad spectrum of beneficial compounds found in Reishi, including triterpenes from the glycerin and beta-glucans
