Tom Caldwell had a 1920s Contemporary design aesthetic in mind when he created the Goletta Table Lamp. The geometric shape is made from a mix of textural travertine and smooth steel in an antique brass finish. The personality of the surface of the travertine stems from the fact that it is porous and has a variety of nooks and crannies in its pitting. Inherent variations in the stone's texture, veining, and color - from pale ivory to a warm tan - are to be expected and celebrated. Each surface is unique so no two are exactly alike.
