Marlene Gold Floor Lamp

When he designed the Marlene Floor Lamp, Ian Thornton was inspired by a bracelet he had seen. As he progressed through the process of turning the piece of jewelry into a floor lamp, he became fascinated with the negative space created by the split stem that embraces the oval white marble ornament.
