Black Gunpowder

Another name for this tea is "Gunpowder black tea" due to its shape. The selected tea is rolled into a pellet shape which will slowly come undone when you prepare the tea to drink. This is traditionally a green tea, but these delicate leaves have been able to oxidize into a black tea before heating to create this traditional tea. The cup is a golden orange hue with a sweet smoky aroma. Light bodied with notes of smoked honey, tomato, and wheat.
