Vijay
Vijay came from a poor family, but he and his brother, Pradeep, loved to watch TV in other people's houses, especially the Indian sport of Kabbadi. (Kabbadi is a combination of team wrestling and tag.) Once, when Vijay and Pradeep had snuck away to watch a Kabbadi match, they got snatched up by a human trafficker and were taken to a rock quarry. They were told to work, and threatened with death if they tried to escape. Work in the quarry was unbearable. Supervisors molested all the children, including Vijay. Pradeep and Vijay planned to escape even though they risked dying in the attempt. Then one day, a team of pastors came to the mine to rescue everyone who was working there against their will or without pay, this included 70 children. Most of the children were reunited with their parents, but Vijay and Pradeep's parents had moved. So the pastors brought them to live at The CFC Children's Home.
