The silver-based enamel dial was done by Mr. Xiong Songtao (熊松涛), a third generation enameller of the Xiong family. While the seconds hand is running, the red orb on the shorter end moves by the Loong's mouth, as if the Loong spits out the red orb, and in Chinese culture, this means precious and pure, passionate and tenacious in heart.
