Oxbow Critical Care Carnivore (Carnivore Care)

Oxbow Critical Care Carnivore has become just that — critical — here at Hamor Hollow Hedgehogs. We've found that it's the perfect nutritional supplement for malnourished rescue hedgehogs that we take in, and it works amazingly as a nutritional supplement for nursing mother hedgehogs. Additionally, if a mother hedgie isn't producing enough milk, we also use Oxbow for hand-feeding babies. Older hedgehogs, hedgehogs that have become ill or are recovering from surgery, and hedgehogs taking medications like antibiotics may occasionally have digestive issues. Recovery foods like Oxbow can provide full nutrition, assist with digestion, and promote a healthy appetite, especially with hedgehogs that have problems chewing. We generally mix two tablespoons of Oxbow into one tablespoon of water in a small food dish or ramekin.
