When Todd’s son was 5, he loved giraffes. So Todd designed him a giraffe toothbrush holder, which arrived at the office when Todd was away. So the Chive crew decided to play a joke -they posted a tonne of photos of the toothbrush holder with flowers in it, and people, thinking it was for real, started pre-ordering them. It was a massive success, for something that was never supposed to be sold.
