At the arrival of Jim Dear and Darling's baby, the frantic new father sees the doctor to the door and then races upstairs calling: "It's a boy! It's a boy!" Lady starts after him, then pauses as she hears Aunt Sarah's voice on the telephone dangling nearby: "Hello – Hello – Jim – Are you there, Jim?"Harvey Toombs supervised the animation of Lady in this scene, and this drawing is his work. Mr. Toombs' first animated for Disney on Pinocchio (1940) (uncredited) and for the next 20 years served as character animator on shorts and features through Sleeping Beauty (1959) and How to Have an Accident in the Home (1956) with Donald Duc
