They're pretty much invisible, easier to clean, and the right thickness for comfort so you'll actually wear them. Retainer Night Guard: If you also grind or clench your teeth, we recommend the 1.5mm version. Though it sounds minor, the increased thickness adds the extra protection and durability needed to absorb your grinding and clenching forces while preserving that perfect smile.
