Tao Hong Si Wu Tang is a modification of the famous formula Si Wu Tang (Four-Substance Decoction).  The original Si Wu Tang consists of four herbal ingredients: Rehmanniae Radix (Shu Di Huang), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Dang Gui), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Bai Shao), and Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuan Xiong).
