This exploration led him to a profound discovery of the intimate connection the Diocese of Utah has with Mary Magdalene, resonating deeply with his own spiritual journey. As the artist embarked on the task of depicting the moment Mary Magdalene was freed from the demons that possessed her, he delved into the significance of her possession by seven demons. This number symbolized a complete and total possession, representing the depth of her torment. Through Christ's intervention, Mary experienced an equally complete salvation, showcasing the transformative power of divine grace. Her story became a testament to the fact that no human effort
