The Afghan Collection is a project employing weavers in Afghanistan to produce a line of more traditional rugs with a coarser feel in classic patterns. The Farahan design is attributed to the Arak Region of West Central Persia. These thinner pile rugs are emulating original vintage and antique pieces in their appearance but are newly produced, hand knotted rugs of peerless quality.
