Feels Like Home

  Oh the kitchen, the place that sees and hears it all. The clanging of pans and washing of dishes, the kneading of dough and the stirring of stew, the deep conversations and even the squabbles. The kitchen is the place that most feels like home. It’s where we welcome guests in while also daily serving our own families, and it is the hub and the gathering place and quite easily the most used room in the house. 🍳 🥄 🍲 🧁 🍞 Guess what? This is my kitchen! We host Thanksgiving in our home every year and it’s such a special time for our family. The kids get involved and they just love having everyone come here where they can help serve. We have a humble little 1,300 square foot 1940’s farmhouse, nothing fancy and lots of issues to fix on the regular. But it’s ours, and it serves well.
