Fills My Every Longing Landscape

What do you long for? 🤍 I think we all carry quiet, unspoken longings—some rooted in faith, others tied to comfort or the pull of this world. But there’s an old song I’ve always loved to lead at church: 🎶 “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, sweetest name I know— Fills my every longing, keeps me singing as I go.”🎶 And it makes me pause. What does it really mean for every longing to be filled by Jesus? Am I willing to examine my desires and ask if they align with His will? 🙏 Can I learn to be satisfied in Him—to let my deepest wants be reshaped by His presence until He is the fulfillment? They’re good and weighty things to sit with. I hope the bright and sunny peace in this landscape meets you right where you are today—and reminds you that every longing is ultimately answered in the love and sacrifice of Jesus. ☀️✝️
